Chesham United’s run of six wins in a row was brought to an end as the Generals lost 2-0 against Paulton Rovers on Saturday.

United’s kelvin Bossman was sent off as Rovers made the better of their chances in what was a scrappy match in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division.

Chris Davies scored twice and Sam Agace got the other as Risborough Rangers enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 win over Chalvey Sports FC in the Berks & Berks Intermediate Cup.

The game had originally been called off on Saturday, 14 November but after the easy win Rangers will now face Loughton Manor in the fourth round of the competition.

Marlow lost 1-0 as Aaron Ferris scored early in the second half to hand Wantage Town a win that moves them to within three points of Marlow in the Division One South West table.

Craige Tomkins scored with a crisp strike to lead Chalfont St Peter to a 1-0 win over Northwood and keep the Saints just a point off the top of the Division One Central League.

After previously going 11 games in a row without a defeat Flackwell Heath Suffered their second straight loss and crashed out of the FA Vase as Bowers & Pitsea beat them 3-2.

In the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central Beaconsfield drew 1-1 at Rushden & Diamonds to make it five league games in a row without defeat.

Amersham Town went down 4-2 on penalties against Letchworth Garden City Eagles after goals from Daniel Mitchell and Kieran Knight had seen them draw 2-2 in round two of the Anagram Records Trophy.

It was a superb effort form a Town side who were reduced to nine men due to injuries but couldn’t lift themselves for the shoot-out.
