Buckinghamshire’s County girl’s under-15 rugby team produced a blistering display as they thrashed Dorset & Wiltshire 55-0 on Sunday.

The bucks side ran in nine tries in the one sided match which featured 11 players who play their club rugby with either the High Wycombe or Chesham Belles squads.

Sasha Edhouse got the ball rolling after taking a quick tap penalty to go over in the corner before High Wycombe’s Ella Whitaker transferred her club form to score twice.

Both of Whitaker’s efforts showed great strength as she broke through tackles to score under the posts.

Natalie Ameyaa broke at pace down the right wing to go over for the fourth try of the day and then Adwoa Tomasi-Adutwan went on a brilliant solo run to add her name to the scoresheet.

Ciara Higley showed a clean pair of heels to the Dorset & Wiltshire defence to increase the lead before captain Seren Pepperall scored the try of the match with a run from her own 22 in which she broke through four tackles.

Melody Czakan accounted for eight points in the resounding win as she converted four of Bucks’ tries.
