Chesham Bois 1B were the latest casualty of Bucks Squash League Division One leaders Aylesbury Grammar School (AGS) as they lost 19-5.

AGS are unbeaten this season and the big win sees them increase their lead at the top of the table to 46 points.

Gerrards Cross are their closest challengers after their 16-7 victory over Chesham Bois 1B saw them climb up to second.

In Division Two Chesham Bois Mavericks and Beaconsfield Tigers met in a heavyweight clash that saw two of the top sides in the division play out a competitive match.

Tigers ultimately came out on top as they recorded what could prove to be an important 16-6 win to move level on points with second placed Chesham Bois Upstarts.

They have two games in hand over leaders Mavericks and have now moved to within 11 points of their title rivals.

Upstarts had an equally disappointing weekend as they lost 16-9 against Beaconsfield Bulls, while Aylesbury Firsts continued their recent good form with a comfortable 17-4 win against Wycombe Squash and Racket Club (WSRC) Nomads.

Rivets moved further into the lead at the top of Division Three with a 14-8 victory as second placed Holmer Green Thirds lost 14-9 against Chesham 1879 Seconds.

WSRC Fourths were indebted to Mark Coxon, Julian Rhodes and Mattie Hewlett as they picked up a much needed win. They then followed up this success by winning a second match against Chesham 1879 Seconds by a score of 16-6.

Wycombe Ladies Seconds were back in action and looking to build on the good form that had seen them defeat Beaconsfield Spots last time out.

They did just that as Dana Morgan, Brenda Ede, Helen Cardy and Fleur Drumer all won their matches to lead the side to an emphatic 16-3 win. They now lead Division Two.
