Wycombe Wanderers striker Aaron Amadi-Holloway has joined Oldham Athletic on loan until the end of the season.

The move will see the 22-year-old head to the League One side in an attempt to gain regular first team football.

Amadi-Holloway has found it hard to secure a regular starting place at Adams Park this season and he has often found himself playing the role of impact player from the bench.

Manager Gareth Ainsworth confirmed in a club statement that Amadi Holloway had requested to move out on loan and that the deal would benefit both player and club.

He said: "Aaron's been unhappy of late because he hasn't been able to force his way into the team, so this move is best for all parties.

"By granting his wish to move out on loan, we might now have the chance to bring in a striker who will give us a new dimension and hopefully bring us more goals, which is what we've been lacking lately.

"But we will only bring someone in if they're the right character for the team and if we can afford to do so."
