Micklefield Judo Club made a strong return to competition over the weekend as they competed in two different competitions.
Saturday saw the club’s younger junior members take part in the Northern Home Counties Red Belt Rumble at the High Wycombe Judo Centre.
Jesse Chraniuk, Leo Redfern and Cerys Little were the standout performers as they all won bronze medals while Cortez Little produced a solid display to finish fifth.
The club’s more experienced members backed up Saturday’s results 24 hours later with a string of medal winners at the Southern Area Open in Crawley.
Chloe Dodge led the way as she claimed a gold and Micklefield’s medal haul was bolstered further by silvers for Jamie Drew, Joe Chraniuk and Alisa Sydykova.
The weekend was completed by bronze medals for Kim Day and Samir Sydykov.
