The UK Gymnastics Spring Series delivered an astonishing amount of success for Booker as the club took home 96 medals.

The club competed across seven levels in six different disciplines ranging from parallel bars to floor routines.

Booker took 11 level 10 competitors to the event who between them brought home 12 gold, eight silver and four bronze medals.

Meanwhile the level nine and eight competitors accounted for 34 medals including 13 golds, 12 silvers and nine bronzes.

There was further medal success for the level seven, six, five and four gymnasts who won a whopping 38 medals between them.

Booker, who train out of the Wycombe Judo Centre, had further reason to celebrate as 10 of their athletes qualified for the Southern Region side.

The Regional NDP Qualifiers in Milton Keynes saw Jemma Coombs, George Roscoe, Eddy Flowers, Daniel Giles, Callum Barlett, Louie Holliday and Ozzy Emery all win gold.

Coombs, Roscoe, Flowers, Giles, Holliday, Barlett, and Emery all therefore made it into the Southern Region team where they will be joined by club mates Isobel Baker, Dylan Lawrence and Freddie Hoskins.

FIG Tumbling’s Jack O’Brien, who is from Downley, has been in equally impressive form as he made the cut for the British Championships which take place in July.
