Micklefield Judo Club (MJC) were on excellent form at the Northern Home Counties Split Grade competition at High Wycombe Judo Centre on Sunday.

The event saw a number of MJC’s members compete at various different standards and come away with medals.

The club won a total of five gold medals as Tyrese Yearwood, Emils Canko and Amarah Peters were victorious in the yellow and orange belt competition.

Joseph Chraniuk added to MJC’s gold medal haul as he and Chloe Dodge both won their respective competitions in the green, blue and brown belt section.

In the red belt event, Jesse Chraniuk, Bobby Pusey and Monty Dorling all performed admirably to win silver medals.

MJC’s success was completed by bronze medals for Sam Elliott (yellow and orange belt), Jamie Drew and Kim Day (green, blue and brown belt).
