A host of ex-international cricketers will don their whites once more as Amersham Cricket Club hold their annual match against a Lashings All Star team today.

It will be the third year in a row in which the club has hosted the event which has previously seen players such as Herschelle Gibbs, Saqlain Mushtaq and Scott Styris take part.

Lashings hold the upper hand in recent meetings between the two sides with Amersham looking to end their current 16 game unbeaten run.

Amersham will have to overcome an impressive collection of talent in order to do so as both Monty Panesar and Ryan Sidebottom will turn out for Lashings.

The club will hold a lunchtime marquee event from 12pm with the T20 match starting at 3.30pm and spectators will be admitted to the Shardeloes Ground from 2pm.

Adult tickets for the match cost £5 and more information can be found by visiting @AmershamCCLash on twitter or emailing Lashings@AmershamCC.co.uk.
