Marlow’s Alex Danson helped Team GB’s women’s hockey team qualify for the quarter-finals at the Rio 2016 Olympics as they beat Argentina 3-2.
Helen Richardson-Walsh’s double gave Team GB a 2-0 lead and Sophie Bray bundled home a third before Florencia Habif’s brace got Argentina back in contention.
Maddie Hinch pulled of a number of fine saves to keep the London 2012 silver medallists at bay as they searched for an equaliser.
Britain held on for the win though and top group B heading into their match with Japan on Friday.
Team GB are hoping to improve on the bronze medal they won at their home Olympics four years ago.
