Totteridge FC are looking for players to spearhead their charge for promotion from the Wycombe and South Bucks Minor League Division Five.

The club’s under-16 team are under new management in the form of former Stokenchurch coach Liam O’Rourke, and are looking for both boys and girls aged between 14 and 16 to join their ranks.

Training takes place between 9-11am at the Totteridge Rec off Freemantle Road on Saturday’s, and O’Rourke is positive his team can impress this season.

“Promotion is the aim and they were unlucky last year to not get promoted. They came fourth after winning seven of their 14 games, and losing seven,” he said.

“It will be my first season with Totteridge FC having been involved in youth football elsewhere. We are looking for footballers in the area who want to get involved in a new club.”

O’Rourke took the opportunity to thank the Totteridge board for appointing him after he left Stokenchurch.

He now wants to see the local community get involved in a new club and is hoping to boost the size of his squad so Totteridge can be competitive this season.
