HIGH Wycombe's emerging golf talent Tyrrell Hatton had another successful week after he finished inside the top ten at the British Masters.

Hatton secured his maiden victory on the European Tour two weeks ago when he cruised to the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship title at St Andrews.

And the 24-year-old continued his rich vein of form when he finished on 12 under par at the Grove over the weekend to finish joint ninth with South Africa's Richard Sterne.

“Happy to finish inside the top ten,” Hatton tweeted. “Another great British Masters, can't wait to play it again next year.”

It means Hatton is now fifth place in the race to Dubai with Alex Noren, Rory McIlroy, Henrik Stenson and Danny Willett ahead of him.

The 23 under par he carded at St Andrews two weeks ago matched the best score in the event's 16-year history and earned him a £640,380 pay day.

Along with the £63,657 he earned last weekend, his season's earnings are now in excess of £2million.
