Wycombe striker Adebayo Akinfenwa could scoop a prestigious award this week after being one of four players shortlisted for the Sky Bet League 2 Player of the Month gong.
The 34-year-old has been in sensational form this season for the Chairboys.
Teams know all about his about his heading ability and hold-up play, but among his five goals in February was an impudent backheel against Crawley as he scored all but one of Wycombe’s goals in the month which demonstrated his importance to the team.
The other three players up for nomination are Matt Godden (Stevenage), Matt Clarke (Portsmouth) and Matty Kennedy (Plymouth).
