Tyrrell Hatton is back in action this week when he contests The Players Championship at the famous TPC Sawgrass in Florida.

Hatton, 25, has had a very decent few weeks the other side of the Atlantic, contesting in many of the tournaments on the PGA Tour without getting his nose in front.

His form had propelled him into the world’s top 15 and he also made his Masters debut in April at the iconic Augusta National.

Now, the Harleyford Golf Club professional will be keen to maintain his progression in a tournament dubbed ‘the fifth Major’.

A stellar field of 147 players will be taking part this week, including 48 of the world’s top 50 as the likes of Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day and Jordan Spieth take part.

This tournament is the last time Hatton will compete Stateside until next month’s US Open at Erin Hills in Wisconsin as he will be back in Europe and then competing on home soil at Wentworth from May 25 to May 28.
