Alex Hales fell agonisingly short of a wonderful hundred as England chase down 306 in their opening Champions Trophy match against Bangladesh at the Oval.
Hales smacked his way to an excellent 95 before he was caught at deep midwicket off the bowling of Sabbir Rahman.
England got off to a ropey start as Jason Roy was dismissed for just one before Joe Root joined the former Chesham Grammar School pupil at the crease to steer England towards their target.
