David Heavyside's phenomenal form for Beaconsfield continued when he scored his third Thames Valley League century in a row on Saturday, making him the first Beaconsfield cricketer ever to do this in 192 years.

The 24-year-old left-hander struck 104 in Beaconsfield's 106-run victory away to Sonning, which keeps them top of Division 2B.

Heavyside's scored his runs off just 60 balls, hitting five sixes and 13 fours. He reached his half-century in just 21 balls.

With Ross Richardson (59no) and Ed Barnett (48no) contributing strongly, Beaconsfield declared at 261-4 after 46 overs.

Led by left-arm seamer Hamish Smart (3-14), Beaconsfield dismissed Sonning for 155 in 38.5 overs to record their sixth victory in seven league games this season.

In the previous two weeks, Heavyside had scored 137 against Ascot (off 56 balls) and 127 against Hurst.

Heavyside has played at the club since he was aged ten.
