Marlow United had only themselves to blame as they dropped vital points against championship contenders Woodcote Stoke Row.

United raced into an early two goal lead with Jo Jarra finishing a sweeping move on eight minutes.

Qwam Thomas doubled that lead in the sixteenth minute and at this stage there looked only one winner.

Some robust tackling from the visitors saw two yellow cards before Woodcote pulled a goal back against the run of play.

Marlow then saw skipper Ollie Flint red carded for a rash challenge before the visitors equalised on the half hour.

Worse was to follow as Andrew Nicol picked up a second yellow for dissent and Marlow entered the second period with nine men.

Despite this they played superbly, continually catching Woodcote on the break with James Namyslack missing the target when clear on goal the same player then hitting the crossbar with a twenty yard effort.

The visitors eventually took the lead ten minutes from time but United refused to lie down with Thomas and McKie missing good chances.
