This week’s Opposition View comes from BBC Radio Lancashire reporter Derek Quinn
How have Morecambe started the season?
Morecambe are currently in the bottom two - their lowest ever Football League position. It has been a strange start to the season because overall they have not played too badly and only really been out played in one game - a heavy defeat at Exeter. Their Achilles heel however has been their lack of goals - only 12 in 16 league games so far.
Who are your key players?
The veteran Kevin Ellison is their talisman and if he plays well he is a real goal threat. Player of the season so far though is probably goalkeeper Barry Roche who has made some fantastic saves.
What are the hopes for Morecambe this season?
At the minute the hopes are to get out of the bottom two. The club has been put through the mill over the last year or so and this year they still have the lowest budget and crowds in League Two. Every season is a struggle but boss Jim Bentley always wants to do more than just ensure survival.
What are your thoughts on Wycombe?
Everyone at Morecambe really admires Gareth Ainsworth and his attitude to the game. We all know they are a team that are always in your face but the one person everyone talks about is Adebayo Akinfenwa. He is loved by Morecambe fans - if not defenders.
Prediction?
I will go for a 1-1 draw.
