Beaconsfield High School have been celebrating as one of their members of staff has become a national champion.
Learning support assistant Ms Pip Williams has become a UK champion and taken home a score of medals in the Masters Nationals Swimming Championships, held in Sheffield recently.
Ms Williams took the gold and became National Champion in 50m Breaststroke, in the 55-59 age group.
She also achieved three silver medals, two individually and one with her relay team and a further four bronze medals in individual races and one relay. Separately she came fourth and fifth in other races.
The school have had a great start to the year, with plenty of sporting success for staff and students alike so far.
The netball teams in particular have shown real progression since September and continue to achieve on the court.
