Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth expressed his desire to keep QPR wonderkid Ebere Eze on loan for the rest of the campaign following another fantastic performance against Yeovil in Wanderers' 2-1 win on Saturday.

Eze grabbed his fifth of the season, opening the scoring on 37 minutes with a bullet of a strike.

Before that, he had been a real threat, denied by a good save from Yeovil keeper Artur Krysiak and given the Glovers defence a torrid time.

Ainsworth once again was in awe of Eze's display. He said: "There were moments of magic and Ebere was again on fire with what he produced.

"He was complimented well with Paris, Bayo and Dayle and they are a good front line.

"The aim is to try and keep him for the season and I want him for the season.

"Whether that happens or not we will see but he is a special talent. He still has plenty to learn.

"He goes forward really well but he needs to impact second half of games still.

"We work hard in training but he has that natural ability that you can't coach.

"One day i am sure he will be playing at the highest level and it is fantastic for us at the moment to have him."

After the disappointment of the defeat against Accrington, Ainsworth was very pleased with his side for bouncing back against the Glovers.

He added: "I am very happy. It is good to follow a defeat with a win.

"I thought the boys were very professional bar two minutes at the end of the first half.

"We had a little bit at the end where we panicked and dropped deep and allowed them onto us for 30 seconds and we just need to have belief in the way we play.

"However, it was a professional display by the boys. I was worried as we had illnesses and injuries but I am really pleased for the likes of Dayle, who came in and did well.

"Anthony Stewart and Dan Scarr also did very well. They won 99 per cent of their headers so it was pleasing and I thought we deserved it."
