A young boxer from High Wycombe continues to scale the heights as he won an international bout before easing through in the National Youth Championship.

Earlier this month, Jamal Khan beat the Ukrainian champion on January 20 before winning his first round match at the National Youth Championship in Milton Keynes.

A huge 2018 beckons for the young fighter with coaches Adrian Moco and Sab Leo preparing Khan for the Junior World Olympics which will take place this summer.

With a hugely successful youth career almost behind him, Khan, who fights with Hoddesdon Boxing Club, will be turning senior next year.

His proud dad Istasar said:”If anybody from the local community would like to get on board with assisting Jamal to take the next step in his career this would be very beneficial for us which would mean Jamal could box full time."

Khan now has the chance to climb the ranks of the boxing fraternity and will fight in the first round of the Youth Championship 2018 on January 28.
