It promises to be a rollercoaster final two games of the season as the League Two campaign comes to a head.

Wycombe Wanderers saw their automatic promotion dreams dented as they lost 4-0 at home to Accrington Stanley on Saturday.

However, their closest rivals, Exeter City, couldn't capitalise as they only drew 2-2 to mid-table Crawley Town at St James' Park.

Notts County's 4-1 thrashing of Yeovil Town at Meadow Lane flung them into the automatic promotion shake-up and it is these three sides that have that last place between them.

All three sides have played 44 games with Wanderers on 78 points, Exeter on 77 and Notts County on 76.

Wycombe face a trip to Chesterfield on Saturday, with the Spireites pretty much on the cusp of relegation, with just a mathematic possibiilty of them staying up.

Exeter face Stevenage away, a mid-table side who have a new manager in place in Dino Maamria.

Notts County face a potentially tricky test against Grimsby Town, who still need to win to stave off the threat of relegation.

The last fixtures see Wycombe play Stevenage at home, Exeter entertain Colchester United and County play Luton at Meadow Lane, who are already promoted. All games will be played on May 5.

There are plenty of scenarios, with the Chairboys still in the driving seat.

If Gareth Ainsworth's men win at Chesterfield and Exeter lose and Notts County fail to win, then the Blues will be promoted to League One.

If the Blues win, Exeter draw and Notts fail to win then it means the Chairboys are on the verge of automatic promotion, being three points ahead of the Grecians and having a superior goal difference.

All three sides could find themselves in third at 5pm on Saturday depending on which way the results go but other than the two scenarios above, nothing will be decided until May 5.
