Maltman’s Green gymnasts won three silver medals at The BSGA (British Schools Gymnastics Association) National Finals in Stoke-on-Trent.

On Saturday, the girls competed in the floor and vault national finals. The U11 age group was incredibly competitive and the girls including Sophie, Arabella, Victoria, Eloise, Libby and Lilianne pulled together as a team to secure their first silver medal of the weekend.

On Sunday morning, the Acro Pair girls; Poppy and Arabella were in action and managed to perform an entertaining and enchanting routine which earned Maltman’s their second silver medal of the weekend.

In the afternoon the school had the Acro group which involved six girls who have all been at Maltman’s since nursery and reception. Sophie, Poppy, Arabella, Eloise, Libby and Victoria competed in their last ever competition together to gain their third and final silver.

Miss Clarke, director of sport at Maltman’s Green, said: “We are incredibly proud of all the girls. They demonstrate their dedication, commitment and hard work, week after week in training with their coach Miss Owen. It is wonderful to see their hard work paying off.”
