Two more members from Wycombe Wanderers' promotion-winning squad have signed new contracts to remain at Adams Park, with defender Sido Jombati and keeper Yves Ma-Kalambay putting pen to paper this week.

Jombati, 30, is one of the club’s longest-serving players having joined in 2014, making 134 appearances so far, finishing last season strongly whilst deputising at centre-half due to injuries elsewhere in the squad.

Ma-Kalambay arrived at the club in October 2017 as cover for first-choice keeper Scott Brown, featuring in the Checkatrade Trophy and making his EFL debut for the Chairboys as a substitute on the final day against Stevenage.

A two-year deal for Jombati will keep him at the club until 2020, while Ma-Kalambay has signed a one-year extension.

Manager Gareth Ainsworth said: “Sido is someone we know we can rely upon to do a job all across the back four and his versatility and experience will be vital for us as we prepare for life in League 1. He’s played a big part in this club’s progress over the past four years and I’m thrilled that he’s agreed to stay.

“We signed Yves to provide cover for Scott last season and he was a safe pair of hands in training and in the games that he played, and although I’m looking to bring in another keeper this summer, I believe Yves can provide competition for the number 1 shirt and it’s great news that he wants to continue his career with us at Wycombe Wanderers.

“We’re still in talks with Marcus Bean and Joe Jacobson over their new contracts and I’m keeping a close eye on the transfer market to see what business can be done, but we won’t be rushed into making any signings because we want to make sure we’re getting the best deals and bringing in the right players."
