Former world number one and double Australian Open champion Viktoria Azarenka and world number five Grigor Dimitrov have joined the illustrious list making up the field for The Boodles 2018.

Belarussian Azarenka triumphed in Melbourne in 2012 and 2013, twice finished runner-up at the US Open in the same years and made the semifinals at Wimbledon in 2011 and 2013.

The former world number one is on the comeback trail after giving birth to her first child, a son called Leo in 2016.   Azarenka's appearance at The Boodles marks the return of women's matches to the event for the first time since 2002, 2003 and 2004 when Maria Sharapova played.

Grigor Dimitrov, won the 2017 ATP World Tour Finals and finished the year at a career-high ranking of number three.  A semi-finalist at Wimbledon in 2014, beating Andy Murray en route, he certainly has a game suited to grass, and is a firm favourite at The Boodles after showing his fun side on previous visits.
