Dominic Gape could return for the trip to Doncaster after missing out on last week’s draw with Blackpool due to injury.
Gape, scorer of that famous winner against Chesterfield, failed a fitness test in the build-up to the game against the Tangerines but manager Gareth Ainsworth is hoping he will be back this weekend.
However, the news on Nathan Tyson hopefully returning this weekend is unclear.
He said: “We are hoping that Dominic will definitely be around for Doncaster. We are still waiting on Nathan and he will be put through his paces.
“Darius Charles is getting closer as well so there could be an opportunity in the next couple of weeks for him to feature.
“We are really happy with the squad. On the whole, we have a fit squad and are ready to go and we are boosted by the return of Dom.
“He picked up a freaky rib injury but he is back in contention. He is a very good player and he will add to the squad.”
One player definitely absent is Michael Harriman. He will miss the game due to suspension after his harsh sending off against Blackpool last Saturday.
