Matt Bloomfield grabbed a late equaliser as Wycombe drew 1-1 with Plymouth Argyle and earned a share of the spoils at Home Park.
Bloomfield scored with six minutes, teed up expertly by Adebayo Akinfenwa before scoring from a tight angle.
Mackail-Smith also had an effort disallowed in injury time as the Blues finished strongly in south Devon.
It was the least the visitors deserved as they hit the woodwork twice, first through Craig Mackail-Smith before Bloomfield's leveller and then Kashket hit the inside of the post with three minutes to go.
The home side took the lead in the fourth minute as when Freddie Ladapo latched onto Graham Carey's pass and lobbed Ryan Allsop smartly.
The point at Home Park should give Gareth Ainsworth's men confidence as they head to Bradford on Saturday.
