BLUES boss Peter Taylor is preparing to lose one of his star players.

The club have not received any concrete bids yet but Taylor has been primed that it could be just a matter of time before someone comes knocking at his door.

He said: "I fear there could be something about to happen. I don't want to lose anyone but if it happens it happens.

"If it was to happen at this stage it's not irretrievable, it is not like there are three days to go before the start of the new season, there is still time to do something."
