INJURY-JINXED right back Lewis Hunt will miss tomorrow’s opening pre-season friendly with a foot injury.
The former Southend United defender, who also sat out last year’s pre-season, is suffering with a slight fracture of his foot.
He is under doctor’s orders not to run on hard ground at the moment and is facing another seven days with the same restrictions.
He has been doing bike and other conditioning work and manager Peter Taylor will take him on next week’s trip to North Devon as well.
He is the only player who has not been able to take part in full training since Blues returned to work a week and a half ago.
