STEVE Hayes has launched a stinging criticism of Wanderers fans who use internet forums to oppose Wasps and a joint stadium at Booker.

The owner of both clubs described the dissenters as ‘the noisy few’ and believes some actually want Wanderers to drop out of the Football League.

Hayes officially backed the development of a community stadium at Booker this morning.

He believes it is the only way both clubs can thrive and says negative comments on message boards don’t hold much sway with him.

He said: “If you look at the numbers and the people that aren’t very happy with Wasps, it’s such a very small percentage.

“It’s the noisy few as opposed to the majority.

“The majority [of Blues fans] are happy with Wasps and happy with the money they bring into the rental and so on and so forth.

“Some of the stories that run on the Bucks Free Press – the most comments I’ve seen is 27.

“They’re negative comments, they’re all the same people. Some of those people want to see Wycombe playing non-league football. That’s a fact.

“I don’t want them to do that.”
