MARLOW’S Samantha Amend was the third woman home outside of the elite group in Sunday’s London Marathon.
The Belgrave Harrier completed the race in 2h44m29s, which put her 270th overall and meant she was the 35th woman across the finish line.
Her time was the eighth quickest by a British woman in this year’s event.
But the Belgrave Harriers website said the mum-of-two was “slightly disappointed” with her time.
