KAT Shaw was in top form as she powered to two silver medals at an elite meeting of the best swimmers from across the south of England.
The newly-introduced Zonal Championships pits the cream of the South East, the South West and London against each other, but the Amersham Swimming Club star was up to the challenge as she set a new personal best to finish second in the 200m backstroke.
She was followed home by team-mate Eleanor Dolan in third before Shaw set the standard again the following day with a silver in the 100m freestyle.
She and Dolan also competed in the 100m backstroke final, with Shaw fourth and Dolan fifth, while Shaw finished off a fine weekend by qualifying for the final of the 50m freestyle as well.
Elsewhere, Dan Barraclough set a new club record on his way to fifth in the 16 and under 200m individual medley final while Sarah Hammond won another medal for Amersham with her third place in the 14 and under 100m butterfly, again in club record time.
In the final session of the meet, Matt Penning-Lambert squeezed into the junior final of the 200m freestyle by finishing eighth fastest in the heats, but took nearly half a second off his time to improve to fifth overall.
Meanwhile, Roz Robertson won a bronze in the 50m backstroke at the South East Region Masters Long Course gala.
