WASPS forwards coach Trevor Woodman is adamant Saturday's LV Cup thrashing at the hands of Northampton Saints won't cast a shadow over their Premiership return this weekend.
Wasps host English champions Saracens trying to avoid a seventh league defeat in a row and losing 57-10 at Franklin's Gardens was hardly ideal preparation.
Woodman said: "I think if you see the team [on Saturday] and see the team next week, it's probably going to be a lot different.
"There will be no hang up for the guys coming back. Most of them last played in the Bordeaux game and we'll take the positives from that."
Fly half Nick Robinson is expected to be among them after coming off the bench against Saints.
Woodman said: "It was important. Nick has been out for a few weeks so it was good for him to get back."
