WASPS have boosted their backs division with another signing this morning.

Winger James Bailey has joined from French side Lyon, following in the footsteps of Lee Thomas, who joined earlier this summer.

Bailey, 28, has played for England U16s, U18s and U21s and also represented England Sevens.

He also has experience of the Premiership with London Irish, Gloucester and Bristol. Director of rugby

Dai Young said: “We’ve got a lot of talent in our back-three but we have been looking to add depth to our squad out wide for some time and James arrives with solid experience at this level.”

Bailey said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my time in France but I always knew that I wanted to return to the English game at some point so I jumped at the opportunity to join such a prestigious club as Wasps.

"Hopefully I can play an important role in the squad and help the Club achieve their goals.”
