Laws early favourite to replace Waddock
10:38pm Sunday 23rd September 2012 in Sport By Andy Carswell
BRIAN Laws has emerged as the surprise early favourite with bookmakers to take over as manager of Wycombe Wanderers.
Blues are looking for a new manager after dispensing with the services of Gary Waddock yesterday following a run of five defeats from their opening seven League Two matches of the season.
And Laws, who was most recently in charge of Burnley, is currently the 5/1 favourite to take over in the Adams Park hotseat.
He is narrowly in front of 6/1 shots Paul Ince, formerly at MK Dons, and Sean Dyche, who was controversially sacked as Watford manager in the close season.
Laws, who was appointed Director of Football at Irish side Shamrock Rovers earlier this month, twice led Scunthorpe United to promotion earlier in his career.
Meanwhile Blues have said they will make an announcement regarding Waddock's departure tomorrow.

Had to laugh as they were offering Harry Rednap at 24/1,.....
...
Think they are trying to create a market out of very little and make a margin,...like most bookmakers.
