Wasps prop ready for landmark game (From Bucks Free Press)

Payne hits 250-mark at Saints

WASPS have named their side to play Northampton Saints tomorrow night.

The headline news is that Nick Robinson starts in place of Stephen Jones, who has been ill, while winger Tom Varndell is replaced on the wing by James Bailey.

Up front, Ashley Johnson misses the match for family reasons, while prop Tim Payne joins an exclusive club as he will make his 250th appearance for Wasps at Franklin's Gardens.

Director of Rugby Dai Young said: “Tim has been a tremendous servant to London Wasps and English rugby and he continues to perform at the very highest level for his club.

"He has been an ever-present in the front row since I have been here and is one of the key leaders within the group we have here.”
