NOT many football managers step up to the mic at gigs, but Gareth Ainsworth says he will still be performing at a charity concert despite being put in charge of Wanderers.

Earlier this season Ainsworth agreed to lead the vocals at an Adams Park charity night on October 6 and he will honour his commitment even though he's now a manager.

He will be on stage with Wycombe-based band Subrosa5 after Blues have played Torquay United, with a pub quiz and comedy set also on the bill for the evening.

Money raised from the event will go towards the club's Community Trust's projects in Kenya and three other charities.

They are GKs for GOSH in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital, where Blues' goalkeeping coach Lee Harrison's son Luke is undergoing treatment for cancer, the Willow Foundation and the Pancreatic Cancer Fund. The charities were chosen as tributes to supporters Jonny Saunders and Steve Maguire and popular steward Graham Cadle, who all died recently.

Tickets are £15 per person and can be purchased by calling 01494 441118 or online. The event starts at 7.30pm and food will be available to purchase on arrival.

When the Trust appoint Scott as manager in a couple of weeks Gazza will be able to spend more time with his band.
