JOSH Scowen has been recalled from a loan spell at Conference South side Eastbourne Borough.
The teenage midfielder was due to stay at the Sussex club until January but Wycombe Wanderers have called him back to Adams Park early.
It could mean the 19-year-old, who made seven appearances for Borough in his two month stay, is in Gareth Ainsworth's first squad that faces Dagenham and Redbridge on Saturday.
Manager Tommy Widdrington told the Eastbourne club website: "Whilst we are obviously disappointed to lose a player of Josh's ability we are delighted to have played a role in his progression and wish him all the best for his future role at Wycombe, a role we firmly believe will see him make an impact in the first XI.
"He did brilliant for us and we were really pleased with his performances for the Sports. It is good that we have forged this positive link with Wycombe and hope the relationship will bear fruit in the future."
