Wood back in action in friendly

SAM Wood played for nearly an hour of a friendly today as he bids to recover from injury.

The winger, signed from Brentford in the summer, sprained knee ligaments during Wanderers' first home league match of the season against Gillingham in August.

He's been on the sidelines ever since but came through 55 minutes of a behind closed doors friendly against Watford this afternoon.

Blues won the match 2-0 thanks to goals from Olly Taylor and Junior Morias.
