GARETH Ainsworth may have to recall himself to the starting line up against Barnet tomorrow night after Bruno Andrade was injured in a freak collision.
The Portuguese winger went off injured against Port Vale shortly after half time when he and team-mate Gary Doherty both went for the same ball and ran into each other.
Andrade will have the problem assessed before Ainsworth picks the side that faces the Football League's bottom club at Adams Park, but if the QPR loanee fails to recover then Blues' caretaker manager may pick himself after watching the last three matches from the dugout.
Ainsworth said: "He took a nasty one on his leg. We'll have to assess that and see how he is.
"There were three of them, a Vale player, him and Doherty - they all smashed each other around the halfway line and Bruno being the lightest one came off the worst."
He added: "I thought he did really well again. First half he was a threat, he got the penalty - he'll be a loss if he's down."
Ainsworth will also be without striker Jo Kuffour, who will serve a one match suspension after being sent off against Vale.
If the Wanderers' caretaker boss does elect to play himself against Barnet, he may not be the oldest man on the pitch.
Recently-appointed joint player/coach Edgar Davids, who is two months older, made his debut for the Bees as they picked up their first win of the season on Friday night.
In beating Northampton 4-0 they doubled the number of points they have picked up this season, having failed to win any of their first 12 matches.
