GRANT Basey leads the list of Wanderers players who are departing Adams Park.

He's one of four players to be released at the end of the season, while two more have been offered new deals and Junior Morias will stay for another year.

Defender Basey played just four times in an injury wrecked season and seems to have paid the price for missing virtually the whole campaign with a cruciate ligament problem.

A former Welsh U21 international, Basey has been released after manager Gareth Ainsworth opted not to extend his 18 month contract.

Joining him through the exit gates are strikers Dennis Oli and Olly Taylor and midfielder Georges Ehui.

Oli was another to suffer with injury problems after missing two months of the campaign with ankle ligament damage sustained in only his fourth match for the club.

But he only featured half a dozen times after Ainsworth took charge of the side and generally failed to impress when given the chance.

Youngsters Taylor and Ehui will also not be kept on.

Taylor played six times after being given his first team bow by previous boss Gary Waddock earlier in the season, Ehui featured just twice as a substitute.

There's better news for fellow youngsters Morias, Lee Angol and Max Kretzschmar however.

Ainsworth has taken up the option of an additional year that were in the terms of Morias's previous contract, keeping the forward at the club for another 12 months.

The 17-year-old became a fans' favourite with a series of encouraging displays as an impact substitute, having also scored five times in an eight game loan spell at non-league Hendon.

Angol and Kretzschmar have both been offered new one year contracts for next season.

Former Tottenham trainee Angol played four times last season but didn't feature under Ainsworth, while midfielder Kretzschmar is yet to make his debut despite twice being named amongst the substitutes.
