WANDERERS boss Gareth Ainsworth has hinted he will have a second look at some of the trialists who featured in Saturday's friendly win at Cheshunt.

A total of four trialists who have been training with the Blues first team squad played a part in the 3-2 win over the Ryman League side.

Striker Aaron Holloway played in the first half while fellow forward Leon Mannion and defensive duo Adam Nditi and Jamie Tank featured after the break.

Former Wales youth international Holloway, who had a short spell with Newport County last season after being released by Bristol City in January, looked lively and showed good control on the deck during his 45 minute outing and Ainsworth may want to give him a second chance.

He said: "I'll keep my cards close to my chest as always, but I liked one or two of them and we'll see where we go with that.

"They have got to be the right people because we can't just take chances anymore. They have to be able to play League Two."

Mannion was given a run-out after being a prolific scorer at Hellenic League level, with ex Chelsea youngster Nditi and former Wolves and Walsall man Tank being given the chance to impress in defence.

Blues looked disjointed at the back in the second half after Ainsworth changed the entire team, with Cheshunt scoring their first after a defensive mix-up and equalising moments later after striker Tunde Adewumni broke the offside trap from a precise through ball.
