WANDERERS spent a total of £5,800 on agents' fees last season - one of the lowest amounts in the Football League.

Three teams in League Two gave nothing to agents while Burton Albion, Dagenham and Redbridge and Exeter City all forked out less than Wanderers.

Promoted Scunthorpe United were the division's big spenders, paying £121,480 over the course of the season.

QPR were the Football League's biggest spenders as agents involved in dealings with the Loftus Road club trousered more than £1.8million.

Overall however Football League clubs reduced the amount they paid agents by 18 per cent in 2013/14 compared to the previous season.

The figures, released in a report by the Football League today, also show Wanderers completed a total of 37 transfer or contract transactions over the course of the previous season.

These include 16 loans or loan extensions, ten new player registrations, six new or updated contracts and five cancellations.
