PAUL Hayes said there are no big time Charlies in the Wycombe Wanderers setup.
The striker said a lack of egos in the dressing room had been key to fostering the right team spirit needed to take the club forward.
Team mate Stuart Lewis recently told the Bucks Free Press there was a lack of harmony around Adams Park last season with some players not wanting to be at the club as they struggled against relegation.
Hayes said that's not the case now, saying Lewis is an example of someone who wants to work to get into the team instead of throwing a tantrum.
He said: "Whoever the gaffer brings on wants to do well for themselves at this club, and that’s where it comes back to the team spirit. There’s no big timers, and no one sulking around.
"That shows with players like Matt Bloomfield and Stuart Lewis who haven’t really featured much but work hard for themselves and the club. They’re good, honest pros and the gaffer’s done well by the players he’s kept at the club."
