MATT Ingram goes head-to-head with the goalkeeper who kept him out the Wanderers team two seasons ago tomorrow.

Ingram was threatening to break into the first team following the shock departure of Nikki Bull, but Blues boss Gareth Ainsworth elected to sign Scotland U21 international Jordan Archer on loan from Tottenham Hotspur instead.

The number one jersey is now in Ingram's permanent possession, while Archer will be in direct opposition after being sent out on loan again to tomorrow's opponents Northampton.

Ingram said: "I'm looking forward to seeing him again. He's a great lad and it's nice to see him back out on loan getting games again.

"Him coming from a Premier League outfit and giving me an insight into what he did on a day to day basis - seeing him training was brilliant. He gave me a lot to learn and I took some things from him.

"Hopefully I can put one over on him though."

Archer will play with Northampton's first choice keeper Matt Duke out injured.

He kept a clean sheet in the Cobblers' win at Morecambe on Saturday but had endured a torrid time before that, conceding 12 goals in his previous four matches.
