FREE entry is being offered to Wasps season ticket holders to any three of Wanderers' next five home fixtures.

The rugby club's now former landlords are inviting supporters of Wasps to get along to a football match instead after a move away was announced this week.

Wanderers have made the announcement in acknowledgement fans of the rugby club may want to continue supporting teams in Bucks, after Wasps this week revealed the news they were moving lock stock to the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

Blues have five fixtures left at Adams Park before the end of 2014 and Wasps season ticket holders will be entitled to free entry to three of them.

They will also be offered a free drink on their first visit to the football.

Wanderers chairman Andrew Howard said: "It’s a tough time for Wasps fans, many of whom live locally to Adams Park and face a long journey to watch their team play each week after they move out in December.

"Our message to them is that we have a really special and proud club right here on their doorstep and we strongly believe they’ll enjoy coming to watch Wycombe Wanderers. This offer gives them the chance to see what we’re all about - and the first drink’s on us as well."

Wanderers have home fixtures coming up on successive Saturdays, hosting AFC Wimbledon on October 18 before Dagenham and Redbridge arrive at Adams Park a week later.

The televised fixture against Burton Albion follows on Monday, November 17 and there's a visit from another of League Two's high fliers as Southend United arrive on Saturday, December 13.

Blues' final home game of 2014 sees near neighbours Luton Town come to Bucks on Boxing Day.

Wasps fans will be able to attend any three of those five fixtures for free.

Tickets can be redeemed from the offer in advance by calling 01494 441118 or visiting the Information Centre at Adams Park - although they will only be available for collection on the matchday - on production of a Wasps 2014/15 season ticket.

Drink vouchers will only be available when tickets are ordered in advance, and only for the first match that a Wasps season ticket holder attends.
