GARETH Ainsworth said he'll only bring in new players ahead of tomorrow's loan signing deadline if he can rely on a favour from someone.

The Blues boss said he doesn't have the finances to pay the wages of a loanee and can only bring someone in if a parent club agrees to let Wanderers have their player for nothing.

Although Ainsworth wants to add to his thin squad, he said he won't go out of his way to sign someone ahead of the 5pm deadline.

He said: "There's always names and there's opportunities to bring people in. What governs is finance and if other teams can help us out.

"We won't be going out there to search.

"Some teams have gone signing mad this week - they seem to be able to sign everyone. Some squads in League Two have 30 plus professionals, which for me is crazy to think about. At Wycombe we barely have 20.

"We'll see if there are any friends in football doing us a favour."
