New Wanderers signing Marcus Bean said he's impressed with the progress of his former Brentford team mates Alfie Mawson and Aaron Pierre - saying they have become men.
The central defensive duo were both in the youth set-up when Bean was also on the books of the Griffin Park club.
The 31-year-old midfielder said the pair showed great promise while coming through the ranks and is proud of the progress they have made into the first team at Adams Park.
Speaking after Saturday's 1-0 win over York, Bean said: "I remember being at Brentford and those two were in the youth team.
"It was great to see them stand out and be men. They are men now.
"Both of them looked very good today, but Alfie especially. He looked like a real player."
