After the news of Josh Scowen's transfer to Barnsley broke on Thursday evening, Wanderers players and fans tweeted their thanks to the midfielder as well as expressing disappointment that the club was losing a big asset.
The 21-year-old signed a two-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee to join the set-up at Oakwell after making 100 appearances for the Blues.
Scowen made his debut for Wanderers in 2011 and was offered a three-year deal to extend his stay at Adams Park, but instead decided to join Danny Wilson's League One side.
Here we catalogue some of the reaction to the midfielder's departure in the world of social media:
All the best on the move @Jscowen4 it's been a pleasure mate.

If there was one player that stood out for @wwfcofficial as a future class act it was Josh Scowen. That has to dent the promotion chances.
