Wanderers supporter Lisa Bowker has been named the Sky Bet League 2 Fan of the Month for January.

The award is recognition for her outstanding efforts to raise funds for the club after she was part of a group that scaled Ben Nevis raising £2,715 for the Chairboys.

As well as her fundraising efforts Lisa has attended 171 consecutive Wycombe games in the Football League.

You have to go back to 2011 for the last time that Lisa missed one of Blues’ league matches – a goalless draw away at Torquay.

She will also be throwing herself out of a plane in April when she undertakes a skydive to raise more money for the club.

Lisa said: “I have always wanted to do a sky dive and so I thought it would be a good way to raise some money for the club.

“I am proud and honoured that I have been nominated and won the Sky Bet Fan of the Month Award – it is a great feeling!”

Wycombe midfielder Matt Bloomfield, who presented her with the award, said: “Lisa follows the team home and away, whatever the weather, and it means a lot to the players to have support like that in each game.

“Her efforts as one of a team of volunteers - and her fundraising activities – don’t go unnoticed and it’s great that she’s been recognised as the Sky Bet League 2 Fan of the Month.”
