Wanderers hope the instalment of free wireless internet at Adams Park will allow them to engage better with fans on a match day.

A company called Stadium Wireless have installed fibre broadband at Blues’ ground, and it will be available to use for those attending Saturday’s game against Shrewsbury.

Matt Cecil, head of media at the club, said: “In the digital age, we know our supporters like to post photos, tweet their thoughts and find out what’s going on at other games, so it’s great that we can now offer wireless internet to everyone without it costing a penny.

“Stadium Wireless have given us a fantastic platform for this to happen and we’re sure it won’t be long until other football clubs follow suit.”

Mark Hillman, founder of Stadium Wireless, said: “Fan interaction is becoming more key to more and more clubs. With this system, Wycombe Wanderers are able to engage with fans better and add to the whole match day experience”.
